Trying to straighten out the fringe

Sunday, Sunday.....I am trying to straighten out the fringe that I call my life... the bank of Cal and I now own my van, soon to be sold for a car that skips back into last century, but....it gets better gas mileage and that is what I need, I will miss Fern, she has taken me on many voyages and for that I am grateful.
Not sure what I will call the new car, will have to wait to see it.
With the money I save from the loan I will be able to start paying up my back bills.
I have dropped just about all my 'pleasures" i.e.-- Netflix. hulu plus, audible, eating out and ice cream at Jerry's!
but when I get back on track I will celebrate with a vanilla cone with rainbow sprinkles.
The Greys are good, Callie and Lilly are good, a little bent out of shape because of the babies,
Bob, Himitshewhat and Doofy, but we all are working on it.
My fringe has been battered, and it will take time to get it back on track, but there is always hope.
Hey if the world didn't suck we would all fall off!!

March Came in like a lamb.....

It's March already, where has the time gone? I feel today it is gone with the wind, it is so windy out the temperature is falling and the sun is now hiding, where oh where did you go? It was 40 degrees when I left work and it is now 33 degrees in just 15 minutes. It was a blustery ride home right now it is barely snowing.
I turned 51 on Monday, still hanging at the fringe as I told everyone I did want to acknowledge my year of birth. I don't want a fuss, per say, as it is not the same since Mom died. I would just as soon let the days go by.

Fourth day of the new year

Hello Tuesday, it is the fourth day I have gone 123 miles so far this year. I have a long way to go, can't decide if I want to re-set the odometer monthly or let it run for the year. Probably monthly, but I have a few days to decide.
It was chilly today, the sun did shine and it was wonderful. Tomorrow is recycling day, I have to load the car before work, must get up earlier and don't go on the computer. I can do this.

New Year on the Fringe

Well it's a new year, a lot has happened, I moved from Cooperstown, to Richfield Springs. I Moved in in November, it's Cal's house I am renting.
Cal bought a house in Herkimer and he offered me this one for the same rent.
My dogs and cats are happy and that is all that matters, well that and that I am happy, I like the freedom of a house.
The weather today 1/2/2011 was chilly, 24 degrees at 11:00 slightly overcast
The weather yesterday 1/1/2011 was 50 degrees and sunny and wonderful, it turned chilly but that was late afternoon.
Amanda was here to ring in the new year with me, we stayed up to watch the ball drop on Times Square. I took her home this afternoon. Work tomorrow, more blogging.
No resolutions per say, but just that I want to be content in my life. Maybe venture off the fringe once in a while.
