Long day Wednesday

Today was my favorite serving day, Brunch for Lunch.  I posted of this before, two pancakes, one egg, one sausage.  Fun.  Not really sure why, maybe because they all love it.

I cleaned for my one client and made arrangements for next week. They are going on vacation.  I am feeding fish and cleaning.  Their Dad, who is also a client will be home the 25th and I want to make sure his home is clean.  School vacation and I am going to be busy.

Then we had a union meeting, that I really did not want to go to, but I showed up and there you go.

We are facing another snow storm.  I only want it if they close school, otherwise, just a dusting will be find.  Time will tell.

Still hating my life, wanting to be or feel something different.  I love my job, and although that is a wonderful thing, it replaces some of the unrest but I am still uneasy.  I wish I new what to do.

Until I know where I am going, I will stay on the fringe,

Snow day's, birthday's and cold day's

I loved the snow day it was fun.  Thursday brought my youngest brother his Fiftieth birthday, a half century, when i called him he asked me if I would ever forgive him...a joke that he had said about Auntie Wanda when she turned sixty.  I told him I would, but just barely.  LOL  He was spending his birthday dinner with pizza, a sick wife and the opening of the Olympics, he was watching snowboarding.  I guess when you reach the half century mark, that is pretty exciting.
As for the cold days, it was 4 above zero here this morning.  I hate the cold more than the snow.  At least the snow adds some insulation, but the cold weather just takes it toll.  I feel sorry for my dogs and the outside cats, mu dogs just do not want to go out, O force them , but we don't get far.  they are getting so restless.  Though if you were to see what I do as I turned around they are both sound asleep, Crane curled in the chair and Saki nose deep in the sofa.  Too cute.  The cats are all hovering around the air ducts, Doofie tends to take up the whole area and warm cat whose fur smells like its burning isn't pleasant.  Grace and Matthew and P.O.T.O. loved laying on the radiators at home, you know the old fashioned water filled ones, man they got hot, I used to sit on them in the winter too.
I miss those radiators, the oil filled free standing ones are just not the same, you can't put your mittens on them.  One of these weekends, I am going to start the pellet stove, that will do it!!!

Well off to tackle the kitchen which I didn't do the other day, wish me luck getting my butt off the chair.

I am going to church tomorrow, I need to, I need to find some peace, I am going to hope God can fix me.

The most beloved of all days...SNOW DAY!!!

Our first snow day of the school year, didn't think it was going to happen.  I got up at my usual time albeit not out of bed, I listened to my book.  We were supposed to get a call, but I had to find out the old fashioned way, I went to WKTV online and there it was bold as day..Cooperstown Central School....closed!!!  I still love that feeling.

So my bonus day off I made coffee, I went out to walk the dogs and my neighbor boys wanted to shovel..the same boys who hardly ever speak unless they want something.  I told him so and that I would do it myself..go me for not caving.

I shoveled, then came in and warmed my toes, drank my coffee, ate my bowl of healthy cereal and played a bit on the computer..it was 8:34.  I texted with my sister and brother and at 9:57 I went back out and shoveled the end of the drive as I had heard the snow plow go by.  I went to my neighbor Vickie and did her end and neighbor Mike and Pete's and then neighbor Jane Ann too, a tad more for hers as I don't think she is home and it was deep.  next time I go out to shovel mine I will go further up her driveway.  She does have a snowblower but if we get all we are supposed to it will be too much, and I am liking the exercise.

Well, I am off to find something wlse to do, I think I will make lunch and then work on the kitchen.  I want to rearrange the cupboards.  It doesn't flow well.

6 more weeks or a month and a half

Well, Phil tells us more winter... either way it is too long.  Yesterday I went to the chili judging at the legion for winter carnival..it was fun I won two things in the Chinese auction.  I am going to join the ladies auxiliary. It will be fun.  There was a guy kind of sparking me yesterday, but I think he is married.  But at least he was interested. So maybe....

I am going to tackle the kitchen this afternoon, I can't put it off any longer.  I need to finish the school laundry too.  Hopefully before 10 o'clock tonight.

It's snowing lightly and it is 32 degrees.

More another day, not feeling this blog today.
